- What is the PHOTO Template Layer?
Each of the pages in this
set contain at least
one "PHOTO Template Layer" that looks
like the image here. This layer is not designed to be part of the finished layout. Instead,
use it to easily place and size your photos. Let your program do the "trimming"
work--its so easy! The CD gives instructions on ways you can use this special feature.
Adobe Photoshop (PS) or Photoshop Elements (PSE) users can take advantage of the PHOTO Template Layer by using it with the "Group with Previous" option. You won't believe how easy it is! There are many other ways to use the PHOTO Template Layer with your photos. If you cannot find something that works for you and your program, simply hide or delete it.
- What format are the files in?
All layouts are in PSD format, with the layers preserved. In the EXTRAS folder, the background papers are in JPG format, and the other elements are in PNG format, with a transparent background. Please be sure your software can open and use these types of files. - What is the License/User Agreement?
The images on the CD are designed to be used mainly for personal use. Commercially, I DO allow use of the images in projects that are sold as PRINTS. (Meaning if you print the project and sell it, that is fine.) I do not allow any of the images to be sold in any type of digital format--this includes but is not limited to download, saved on CD or DVD, and/or included in any other digital kit. For the complete License/User Agreement for this CD set, click here. - What sizes are the pages? On Disc 1 you will find all of the square layouts, which were
created 8.5" x 8.5", but can easily be resized to any square size you need. Disc 2 contains all of the
"Letter-sized" layouts, which are 8.5" wide x 11" tall. The letter-sized layouts are basically the same as the square
layouts but have been resized and the background color changed. To create a more pleasing look,
sometimes these layouts vary slightly from their square "siblings".
The extra background papers are 8.5" x 11", but can be cropped and resized to almost any size. ALL images and pages were created at a resolution of 300dpi for exceptional print quality.
- Is the set available as a download?
Sorry, these CD's are almost completely full (700MB on each CD) which makes it impossible to make it available as a download. - Is it worth the price?
Is your time worth anything? Of course! These completed layouts will save you hours of time! Who wants to spend hours building a scrapbook when you can get it done in a fraction of the time and be SHARING it with others? What is that worth to you?
